- The Forest Wiki now has a discord, click here to join. This is the best method of communication regarding The Forest Wiki and the community here.
- There is currently a position for an administrator or wiki guardian. Previous experience is required. Contact Farket through the discord to inquire.
- There are no new updates regarding information about v1.0 since the last update was released, v0.73. We can hope for a full release in a months time.
- Currently, fire upgrades with booze are not working. This has been the case since v0.73. Hopefully, it will be fixed soon.
- When you're searching The Forest Wiki, keep an eye out for pages that have no images in the gallery. The Wiki has received an over haul in the last few months. There are many new pages have been created for buildings, items, locations, etc and many don't have images for the gallery. There are many pages with this image in their galleries, if you can, replace them with some good screenshots.

PS4 & PC release 2018
Endnight Games have announced that The Forest will release in the 2nd quarter of 2018 for Playstation 4 and PC (Leaving Alpha). A trailer and an interview with the developers has been released, the videos can be seen here.

Font color change
The font color of The Forest Wiki was changed on the November 22, 2017. The color was chosen to reflect a color that is closer to that of the survival guide. Mass deletion of unused images
On the 3rd and 4th of November 2017, a mass deletion was performed on most of the unused images, there was over 520 images. Unused means that they were not listed on any pages, this could be for a number of reasons. No images that are on pages were deleted. All images were checked prior to their deletion. They were deleted for one or more of the following reasons:
- Duplicated
- Outdated
- Was too dark and difficult to observe the content involved
- Contained borders of the software used to screenshot the image
- Poor quality or too small to make out the content
- The file didn't have a proper title outlining what the content was as well as the picture being too ambiguous
- No longer had a purpose
Please ensure that all future images are added to pages and maintained, this is not the responsibility of admins and wiki guardians to ensure this.
If your image was deleted, please be assured that it was not personal. I had personally deleted over 100 of my own images that met the criteria above. Due to the large amount of images that were involved, there may have been unfair deletions. If you believe the image was unfairly deleted, it is possible to restore the image.
