Orange Paint was a crafting material item that was added in v0.12 and removed in v1.0 of The Forest.

Gameplay

Orange paint was used to paint the Plane Axe, Upgraded Stick, and the Upgraded Rock orange. Painting these weapons was purely cosmetic. The developers did not state a reason for removing orange paint or blue paint from the game. The resulting item would be a orange-colored version of the original with all previously applied weapon upgrades still on it. Blue paint wouldn't remain on the item after painting it with orange paint. The effect wouldn't wear off when under rain or swimming.
