Hairspray is an fire emitting weapon when used in conjunction with the lighter, it was added in update v1.0 to The Forest.
Gameplay[]
- It can be obtained in caves or suitcases
- When equipped it can be used by holding the attack button.
- When using the hairspray and having the lighter equipped, it ignites the spray and acts like a flamethrower.
- Hairspray has a rather limited capacity with a burn time of 15 seconds and should only be used if necessary.
- On close distance, it can ignite bushes, enemies, corpses and animals. Buildings are not affected in any way.

Hairspray can be found in caves and suitcases.
Beach Hut Village, in the far end north hut, in a suitcase
Waterfall Village, in one of the huts
Cave 5, near the entrance.
Cave 2, at the far ends of the cave.

Known Bugs[]
- Does not emit light when used with lighter.
- Emptying an equipped Hairspray sometimes also empties surrounding Hairspray cans on the floor.
- It will destroy already burning Basic Fire, Fire Pit and Bonfire
