Fishing Pond

The Fishing Ponds are locations found throughout The Forest. They are often found adjacent to cannibal villages, and more often than not have luggage scavenged from the plane spattered about. When near villages, they often have large decorative towers that look similar to tall noose traps.

These ponds of water often have spears planted in the ground around them, which can be used to catch fish and subsequently cook them later on a fire or drying rack to refill your hunger. A player can also drink from ponds to restore thirst at the cost of health, or fill a water skin or pot with polluted water.
