The cargo manifest is a story item that was added in update v0.49 to The Forest.
Gameplay[]
The cargo manifest on the western shore of the peninsula. It's added to the notes section of the survival guide when picked up.
Along with the logo on the sides of the red shipping containers, it's often the first clue the player gets to the presence of Sahara Therapeutics on the peninsula, which plays a huge part in the story.
Theory[]
As the writing on the cargo manifest is difficult to read. It is hard to determine what role the cargo manifest has in the game. It may be just a clue for the player regarding Sahara Therapeutics and that they had activity on the peninsula
