Arrow baskets are storage buildings that are used to store up to 83 arrows, it was added in update v0.28 of The Forest.

Gameplay

A full arrow basket on a tree platform, a tree house or behind defensive walls on a platform can help with prolonged ranged fights against cannibals and mutants.
In most situations however the 50 arrows the player can carry with a quiver are more than enough, especially when using bone arrows.

In multiplayer arrow baskets can speed up and simplify the exchange of arrows significantly.
The other players can spend their time elsewhere farming items, materials or food and water and pick up arrows as needed on their return.

Additional inventory storage can be achieved by making a quiver, it will increase personal storage from 30 to 50:

Known Bugs

• The v0.28 patchnotes mention arrows baskets can store 86 arrows, but only 83 arrows fit in. The item number of arrows is 83 too, so this might be some kind of developer oversight.
• It's not possible to store bone, fire and poison arrows types in arrow baskets in multiplayer, it will convert them to normal arrows. In v0.69 patchnotes it was fixed for single player, it should be fixed in upcoming patches for multiplayer shortly.
• If you store Modern Arrows in an arrow basket, they will convert to normal arrows.
